In 2024 the Thackray Museum launched fragile Microbiomes, an experimental departure for the museum to host an art-led exhibition. Partnering with internationally renowned British artist Anna Dumitriu and scientist Dr Jane Freeman, I curated an exhibition exploring our relationships to the complex ecosystem of microbes that live in us and around us. The exhibition includes sculptures and installations made using bacteria, DNA, altered vintage objects, 3D printing, textiles, video and digital technologies.
