I was the assistant curator (and also the only curator and for a while Acting Director) at the Museum of History of Science, Technology and Medicine at the University of Leeds after volunteering with the museum for a number of years. I was involved in exhibitions, collections management, teaching, research and conservation. Some of the posts will be about my museum work, although these might feature on the museums own blog, so more often will be about some of the museums I have visited.

Myself and museum volunteer Paul in the Gillinson Room. My major project of 2015

From January 2016 to December 2017 I organised a new public lecture series “HPS in 20 objects”  Using objects from the Museum of HSTM’s collections we explored the history and philosophy of science from antiquity to the present. See here for more information and links to videos from the series.

The Museum of HSTM also has its own blog and website, you may find some overlap between this site and the museum blog and website as I manage them all.
